Sue the Car-Makers
September 21st, 2006We’ve been moving towards ditching our car completely. It costs too much, both to our wallet, and also to the environment. But once we move closer into the city, it has to go.
The plan is to buy everyone bikes, ride around and use PT. When we absolutely need a car, then there are some great car sharing services to use.
In a move that excites me more than I expected, the state of California, with Arnie at the helm, has decided to sue a bunch of car makers over the production of some 20% of the greenhouse gases filling our atmosphere.
It’s great to see some strong leadership in this area. Hopefully it will be a catalyst for stronger measures.
